About Living Timeless
Living Timeless is a growing modular kitchen, wardrobe, and interior solutions brand focused on delivering high-quality design, manufacturing, and project execution.
As the company expands across showrooms, factory operations, and project volume, we are looking for a strong General Manager – Operations who can lead daily business execution and work closely with the founders to build a scalable, accountable, and customer-focused organization.
Role Overview The General Manager – Operations will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of Living Timeless across design, factory coordination, procurement, project execution, installation, customer experience, collections, and team management.
The person will act as the operational second-in-command to the founders, particularly supporting Prateek in running the business efficiently.
The objective of this role is to ensure that projects are delivered on time, departments work together effectively, customers receive a consistent experience, and routine operational matters are resolved without constant founder involvement. Key Responsibilities
Business Operations
Lead the daily operations of Living Timeless.
Coordinate activities across showrooms, design, factory, procurement, projects, installation, customer experience, and finance.
Establish clear ownership, priorities, and accountability across departments.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews.
Identify bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
Build systems that reduce dependency on the founders.
Project
Execution
Track projects from booking and design approval through production, installation, and final handover.
Ensure measurements, drawings, approvals, procurement, production, dispatch, and installation are completed as per schedule.
Monitor all active projects through a centralized project tracker.
Identify potential delays early and implement corrective actions.
Ensure project managers and department heads meet committed timelines.
Reduce project delays, rework, and customer escalations. Cross-Functional Leadership
Improve coordination between sales, design, factory, procurement, installation, and customer-service teams.
Ensure every department understands its responsibilities and deadlines.
Resolve interdepartmental conflicts and communication gaps.
Support department heads in improving team productivity and performance.
Create a structured escalation and decision-making process. Factory and Supply Coordination
Work closely with the factory and production teams to align project priorities and dispatch schedules.
Ensure approved designs and production information are accurately transferred to the factory.
Monitor material availability, vendor commitments, and production capacity.
Minimize wastage, rework, production errors, and unnecessary delays.
Coordinate production planning based on project timelines and collections.
Customer
Experience
Ensure customers receive regular and accurate project updates.
Establish a structured customer escalation and resolution process.
Personally intervene in high-priority customer issues when necessary.
Improve project communication, handover quality, customer satisfaction, reviews, and referrals.
Ensure customer complaints are resolved before they require founder intervention. Financial and Commercial Control
Monitor project-level costs, margins, discounts, rework, and operational leakage.
Ensure production and dispatch follow approved commercial and payment processes.
Track customer collections against agreed project milestones.
Work with finance and project teams to improve collection efficiency.
Review weekly reports covering collections, project profitability, outstanding payments, and operational costs. Team Management
Lead and mentor department heads and operational team members.
Define measurable KPIs for each department.
Conduct performance reviews and follow up on agreed actions.
Improve attendance, discipline, ownership, and communication across teams.
Identify manpower requirements and participate in hiring key operational roles.
Address underperformance and recommend corrective actions where required.
Develop managers who can independently lead their respective functions. Process and Systems Development
Create and implement SOPs, checklists, approval systems, and reporting processes.
Standardize the customer journey from booking to handover.
Build dashboards covering projects, production, installations, collections, customer issues, and profitability.
Ensure processes are consistently followed across showrooms and departments.
Prepare the operating structure for future showroom and factory expansion.

10–15 years of experience in operations, general management, project management, or business leadership.
Experience managing multiple departments and cross-functional teams.
Strong preference for candidates from modular furniture, interiors, manufacturing, construction, retail, or similar project-based industries.
Strong understanding of project timelines, procurement, production, installation, and customer-service processes.
Commercially aware, with the ability to understand margins, costs, collections, and profitability.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Comfortable managing customers, employees, vendors, and operational pressure.
Highly structured, disciplined, and execution-oriented.
Able to work independently and take ownership without waiting for founder instructions.
Proficient in operational reporting, dashboards, project-management tools, and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Definition of Success
Within the first six months, the General Manager should establish a predictable operating system for Living Timeless.
Projects should have clear owners and deadlines, departments should operate in coordination, collections should be closely tracked, customer escalations should reduce, and the founders should no longer need to personally chase routine operational tasks.
