General Manager - MICE (Travel and Tourism Industry) Location: Kolkata and Noida

Overview We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and business-focused leader for the role of General Manager – MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) to head our MICE vertical. The ideal candidate will bring strategic direction, business development capabilities, and operational excellence to scale up our domestic and international MICE portfolio. This is a high-impact role offering significant autonomy and leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the MICE vertical, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Business Development: Drive growth by identifying and pursuing current business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event partners, and international vendors.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to maximize profitability while ensuring service quality.
- Budget Management:



Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Key Requirements

- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Travel, Hospitality, or Event Management. MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the MICE sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building and scaling large MICE businesses.
- Networking Skills: Strong network of corporate clients, event partners, and international vendors.
- Negotiation Expertise: Proficiency in contract negotiation and client engagement strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
