We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in BigQuery, Python, SQL, and cloud-native data engineering services while ensuring performance, scalability, security, and data quality. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Dataform. Develop batch and streaming data ingestion frameworks.



Build dimensional data models and optimize BigQuery performance and cost.

Implement CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, monitoring, and data quality processes. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning.

Implement cloud security, IAM, governance, and metadata management best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of Data Engineering experience with at least 3+ years on Google Cloud Platform. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience with: BigQuery Cloud Storage Dataflow Cloud Composer (Airflow) Dataform Cloud Functions Cloud Pub/Sub Cloud Scheduler Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, CI/CD, and Cloud Security.
