Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer with robust expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, dbt, and Apache Airflow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data warehouse solutions, and supporting enterprise analytics using modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and optimize data models and transformations using dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Develop and manage workflows using Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer.
- Design and optimize data warehouses using BigQuery.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Develop automation and data processing scripts using Python.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts,



and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance best practices across the data platform.

Required Skills

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery, dbt, and Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer.
- Robust proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Valuable understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Cloud Storage (GCS), Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or Looker.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality concepts.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
