Role Description The Full Stack Mobile & AI Engineer will work full time on-site in Bengaluru, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications and AR experiences for Focally’s smart glasses ecosystem.

Responsibilities include building and optimizing front-end mobile interfaces, implementing backend services and APIs, and integrating AI models into production-grade applications. The role involves applying machine learning and pattern recognition techniques to enhance user interactions, including personalization, vision, and natural language understanding features. The engineer will participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture decisions, ensure performance and scalability,



and maintain high standards of reliability and security.

Working closely with product and design teams, the engineer will iterate on features based on user feedback and help drive continuous improvement in Focally’s AR platform.

Qualifications

Solid foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, with experience in building and deploying mobile and backend applications.

Knowledge of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with applied experience in developing and optimizing machine learning models.

Practical experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and related AI techniques for enhancing user interaction and automation.

Proficiency in at least one modern mobile development framework (e.g., React Native, Flutter, or native Android/iOS) and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization, and CI/CD workflows for production systems.

Ability to write clean, maintainable code, work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with augmented reality, computer vision, or wearable devices is a strong plus.
