Role Overview:
The Nurse will be responsible for supporting infection prevention practices in hospital settings,
assisting clinical procedures, and driving product utilization through training and on-ground
clinical support. The role requires strong exposure to Operation Theatre (OT) practices and
infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in Operation Theatre (OT) procedures as a scrub/circulatory nurse ensuring
adherence to sterile protocols
• Support implementation of infection prevention and control practices across hospital
departments
• Provide clinical support and product demonstration for infection prevention solutions
(AWC, GWC, disinfectants, surgical consumables)
• Coordinate with surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital stakeholders for smooth procedural
workflow
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for hospital staff on infection control
protocols and product usage
• Ensure compliance with hospital hygiene standards, sterilization protocols, and
biomedical waste management
• Assist in handling advanced surgical procedures (e.g., laparoscopic, oncology, cardio-
thoracic, transplant cases)
• Monitor and maintain OT readiness, including instruments, consumables, and sterile
environment
• Support sales and business teams by providing clinical insights and field-level feedback
• Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals to drive product adoption and
clinical acceptance
Key Requirements:
• B.Sc / GNM in Nursing
• 8+ years of experience in Operation Theatre / Infection Control / Critical Care
• Hands-on experience as Scrub Nurse / OT Coordinator preferred
• Exposure to multi-specialty surgeries (laparoscopy, oncology, cardiac, etc.)
• Robust understanding of sterilization and infection prevention protocols
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Willingness to travel for hospital visits and training programs
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in infection prevention products or hospital consumables
• Ability to conduct clinical presentations and demonstrations
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
