Role Overview

The Homeroom Teacher is responsible for the overall academic, emotional, and behavioral development of assigned students. The role involves close coordination with subject teachers, parents, and school leadership to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents

Monitor students academic progress, attendance, and behavior

Maintain student records, report cards, and documentation

Coordinate with subject teachers to track performance and provide support

Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings (PTMs)

Address student concerns related to academics, discipline, and wellbeing

Implement school policies, CBSE guidelines,



and child safety norms

Support students social, emotional, and moral development

Facilitate classroom management and positive discipline

Guide students in goal-setting, study habits, and personal development

Organize and supervise class activities, events, and assemblies

Communicate key school updates to parents and students

Identify students needing remedial or counseling support and coordinate interventions

Preferred candidate profile

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Classroom and student behavior management

Empathy and mentoring abilities

Organizational and documentation skills

Ability to collaborate with teachers and school leadership

Parent handling and counseling skills

Qualifications Required

Graduate/Postgraduate degree (as per CBSE norms)

B.Ed. (Mandatory)

Minimum 510 years of teaching experience (preferred for senior classes)

Prior experience as a Homeroom/Class Teacher is an advantage.

Interested candidates can walk-in from Monday to Friday between 10am to 4pm.
