Role & responsibilities

The role will involve the following critical activities:

- To work on Private Equity / Real Estate such as Fund / Financial Accounting - Book Keeping, Journal Posting, Preparation of Financial Statements.
- Management Fee Carried Interest and Expense Calculation & Posting. Capital Calls - Preparation of Capital Call Memos, Follow Up with LPs for funding Distribution - Preparation of Distribution working.
- END to End Daily/weekly/Monthly GAV/NAV preparation which includes
- Booking of Capital Activities (Subscription/Redemption/Transfer)
- Market Value Reconciliation,
- Computation of Profit and Loss for Financial instrument
- Expense Accounting
- Dividend Accrual Reconciliation,
- Bond Coupon Accrual Reconciliation,
- Confirming Trial Balance ledgers tie-up with various sub-ledgers

- Preparing Financial Statements and Handling audit queries and other Ad-hoc reporting requirements.

Deliver high quality service to clients by accurate and timely completion all assigned tasks.

- Calculation of Management fees, Performance fees, Investor allocation and preparation of investor reports.
- Handling audit queries and other Ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Assisting manager and team in meeting SLA.
- Training new joiners.





Preferred candidate profile

- Qualified Accountant or equivalent
- Chartered Accountant with 2 + years experience in FUND ACCOUNTING OR
- MBA with 4+ year experience in Fund Accounting
- Strong understanding and working experience of Private Equity (e.g., direct investments, co-investments, SPVs) and Credit Funds.
- Solid understanding of End-to-End NAV Lifecycle like Capital calls/distributions, NAV preparation and review, Investor Allocation, ROR Calculation Pricing validation, Carried interest / performance fee calculations Audit support & Financial Reporting.
- Previous Fund administration experience
- Strong working knowledge of a broad range of asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, Option, Future, CFD, CDS, FX Forward, syndicated loans, direct lending, CLOs, distressed debt
- Candidate must have experience working with accounting tools, general ledger packages, valuation tools, and front / back-office processing systems.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)able to coordinate with auditors, clients, and internal teams
- Strong ownership mindset; capable of handling pressure and timelines.
- Strong Knowledge of MS office
