This Role is Contract position (6 months - 1 year) - Extendable
Must Have Skills :
- 2 - 10 years of frontend engineering experience, including significant time as a technical lead
- Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Proven track record architecting and scaling React-based applications across multiple teams/products
- Strong experience designing and governing enterprise-grade component libraries and design systems
- Ability to define frontend architecture standards — folder structures, state management patterns, API layer conventions
- Experience with performance engineering at scale (Core Web Vitals, bundle size budgets, rendering strategies)
- Strong understanding of testing strategy and quality gates (unit, integration, E2E, visual regression)
- Ability to partner with product management and design to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Track record of driving technical decision-making (build vs. buy, framework upgrades, tooling choices)
- Robust communication skills to be able to represent UI engineering in cross-functional and leadership forums
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tooling (Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) and its impact on team velocity
Good to Have Skills :
- Experience with micro-frontend or module federation architectures at organizational scale
- Familiarity with SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js) and edge rendering strategies
- Experience setting up frontend observability and analytics frameworks
- Background in accessibility compliance programs (WCAG/Section 508) at a product-wide level
- Experience with multi-product platform strategy (shared component libraries across product lines)
- Prior experience in PIM/MDM, data platform, or B2B SaaS environments
- Familiarity with budget/vendor management for tooling and third-party libraries
