Role Description The Freelance Video Editor for Reels will be responsible for editing short-form video content optimized for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting highlights, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

The role involves collaborating with the marketing and content teams to interpret briefs, create engaging visual stories, and deliver projects within agreed timelines.





The Video

Editor will also adapt content for different aspect ratios, add captions, and optimize videos for social media performance. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability and reliable communication.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience creating short-form Reels or similar social media content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of footage.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and incorporate Graphics to support storytelling, branding, and viewer engagement.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar software).
- Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for Reels and short-form video content.
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling, with attention to detail and sound design.
- Reliable work from home setup, time management skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant education or certification in film, multimedia, design, or a related field is beneficial, as is prior experience in digital marketing or tech-focused content.
