Role Summary

​We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Online French Tutor to provide customized language instruction. The immediate requirement involves tutoring an international student based in Europe (EET time zone). The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, technologically proficient, and capable of delivering engaging, results-oriented lessons. You will be responsible for assessing the student's proficiency, designing a tailored curriculum, and tracking their progress over time.

Key Responsibilities

1. ​Deliver Premium Instruction: Conduct one-on-one online French lessons via video conferencing platforms, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and punctuality.
2. ​Adaptive Curriculum Design: Create and execute customized lesson plans that align with the student's specific learning goals, pacing, and proficiency level.
3. ​Targeted Remediation: Design and assign specialized homework and practice exercises that adapt dynamically to the specific mistakes and learning gaps demonstrated by the student during sessions.
4. ​Progress Tracking: Maintain brief, accurate records of student performance and communicate regular progress updates to management.
5. ​Client Retention:



Foster a positive, encouraging, and highly engaging virtual classroom setting that motivates the student and ensures long-term retention.

Qualifications & Requirements
1. ​Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in French (C1/C2 level minimum) and strong conversational English for clear administrative communication.
2. ​Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching French as a second language, specifically in an online, one-on-one environment.
3. ​Technical Setup: Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection, a high-quality webcam, and a noise-canceling microphone.
4. ​Digital Fluency: Proficiency with virtual teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, interactive whiteboards, and digital document sharing).
5. ​Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a schedule across international time zones reliably.

1. ​Rate: Competitive hourly compensation, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
2. ​Schedule: Flexible, part-time hours based on mutual availability, with a requirement to accommodate European time zones.
3. ​Invoicing: Streamlined monthly payouts managed directly by the company, ensuring you are compensated reliably without having to chase client invoices.
