Founder’s Office Intern – Investment Management

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and analytically curious Founder’s Office Intern to work closely with the leadership team of a growing Investment Management firm. This is a high-ownership role offering exposure to investment research, portfolio strategy, business development, market intelligence, and strategic decision-making.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys going beyond spreadsheets, understands financial markets, and wants to see how investment ideas are evaluated and transformed into real business decisions.

What You’ll Work On

- Conduct equity and industry research to identify emerging trends, investment opportunities, and key market developments.
- Analyse companies through financial statements, business models, competitive positioning, valuation metrics, and management commentary.
- Support the preparation of investment notes, presentations, research reports, and management briefs.
- Track portfolio performance, market movements, sector trends, and macroeconomic developments.
- Assist the Founder in evaluating new investment ideas, strategic initiatives, and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, databases, and analytical frameworks.
- Conduct competitor, market, and industry research to support strategic decisions.
- Assist with business development, investor communication, and client-facing initiatives where required.
- Convert large amounts of information into clear, actionable insights for senior decision-makers.
- Work on high-priority projects where the objective may be defined, but the path to the answer is yours to figure out.

What We’re Looking For

- Students pursuing B.Com, BBA, BMS, Economics, Finance, CA,



CFA, Actuarial Science, or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in investment management, equity research, financial markets, and business strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working with Excel, financial data, and presentations.
- Excellent research, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate in a rapid-paced environment.
- Curiosity to understand why a business works, not just what its numbers look like.

Why This Role?

This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your internship making coffee and updating spreadsheets while learning nothing about the business.

As part of the Founder’s Office, you will work at the intersection of investments, strategy, research, and execution, gaining a first-hand understanding of how an investment management business evaluates opportunities and makes decisions.
