We are seeking an exceptional Head Furniture Design who can lead the creative vision, design philosophy, and product development journey for Della Luxury Products.

Role Overview

The Head – Furniture Design will be responsible for leading the complete furniture design function, driving innovation, conceptualization, design development, and execution of luxury furniture collections.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury furniture design, bespoke furniture, luxury interiors, premium real estate projects, or high-end furniture design organizations and should possess the ability to transform creative concepts into iconic furniture pieces.

This is a leadership role requiring a strong design sensibility, understanding of luxury consumer expectations, technical expertise, and the ability to build a world-class furniture design ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Vision

- Define and establish the design philosophy and creative direction for Della Luxury Products.
- Lead the conceptualization of luxury furniture collections aligned with global trends and Della's brand vision.
- Create distinctive furniture designs that represent innovation, elegance, functionality, and timeless luxury.
- Research international design trends, materials, craftsmanship, and emerging technologies.

Product Design & Development





- Lead the complete furniture design lifecycle from concept creation to final execution.
- Develop design concepts, sketches, mood boards, prototypes, and detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, production teams, and artisans to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible, commercially viable, and production-ready.

Luxury Craftsmanship & Material Expertise

- Demonstrate deep understanding of luxury materials including premium woods, metals, stones, fabrics, leather, finishes, and cutting-edge materials.
- Work closely with craftsmen and manufacturers to achieve exceptional detailing and finishing standards.
- Drive excellence in workmanship, quality, aesthetics, and durability.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

- Build and lead a high-performing furniture design team.
- Mentor designers and establish design processes, standards, and workflows.
- Create a culture of creativity, innovation, and design excellence.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with CMD and leadership teams on design strategy and product roadmap.
- Collaborate with luxury real estate, architecture, and interior design teams.
- Partner with production, sourcing, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Proven experience leading furniture design for luxury, premium, or bespoke furniture brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional furniture design capabilities.
- Experience in creating luxury collections, customized furniture, and signature pieces.
- Strong understanding of global luxury design trends and craftsmanship.
- Ability to balance creativity with technical execution and commercial requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education Qualification

Essential:





- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Interior Design, or related discipline.

Preferred:

- Master's Degree in Design / Furniture Design / Industrial Design.
- Certifications from reputed design institutes will be an advantage.
