Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Business Analyst with strong experience in BFSI domain, to drive digital transformation initiatives across banking, financial services, and capital markets. The role involves end-to-end ownership of business analysis, from problem definition to solution delivery in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation for digital transformation initiatives
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to translate business needs into functional solutions
- Drive end-to-end BA lifecycle including discovery, scope definition, requirement gathering, UAT, and implementation support
- Create and manage key BA artefacts:
- BRD, FRD, User Stories, Process Flows, Use Cases

- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement validation sessions
- Manage and prioritize product backlog in Agile environments
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Ensure requirements traceability from initiation through delivery and UAT
- Support business transformation initiatives including process re-engineering and digital journeys
- Identify and manage stakeholders across geographies, ensuring alignment and communication




- Work on regulatory and compliance-driven requirements within BFSI

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 7- 12 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst
- Strong domain expertise in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets)
- Proven experience in Digital Transformation programs
- Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong experience in:
- Requirement elicitation & stakeholder management
- Writing user stories with acceptance criteria
- Business process modelling (As-Is / To-Be)

- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
- Robust communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience in:
- Wealth Management / Investment Banking / Transaction Banking
- Digital channels (mobile/web banking platforms)

- Familiarity with tools:

- JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Azure DevOps

- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SEBI, RBI, MiFID, etc.)
