Role & responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor warehouse associates to ensure productivity and performance targets are achieved.
- Allocate work assignments and manage shift schedules effectively.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Maintain proper warehouse organization and storage practices.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely processing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety practices.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Prepare daily operational reports and communicate performance metrics to management.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of warehouse equipment and materials.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 to 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 12 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
and ERP software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
