We are looking for a Flutter Developer with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in building mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
You will work closely with backend developers and QA engineers to build and improve customer journeys across the RuDo mobile application.
The role requires more than implementing screens from Figma. You should be able to understand the complete user journey, integrate APIs, handle different application states, write maintainable code, test your work and support features after they are released.
You will initially work under the guidance of senior team members while gradually taking ownership of complete features and customer journeys. Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain RuDo’s Android and iOS applications using Flutter and Dart.
· Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, accurate and reusable Flutter components.
· Work with product and design teams to understand user journeys, requirements and edge cases.
· Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs for onboarding, KYC, authentication, investments, portfolio tracking, notifications and analytics.
· Implement appropriate state management using Riverpod, Bloc, Cubit, Provider or a similar framework.
· Write clean, modular, reusable and maintainable code.
· Follow the application architecture and coding standards adopted by the engineering team.
· Properly handle loading, empty, success, timeout and error states.
· Implement form validation, session handling and secure local data storage.
· Write unit and widget tests for important application components.
· Support integration testing for critical customer journeys.
· Debug functional, UI and performance issues across Android and iOS devices.
· Use logs, Firebase Crashlytics and Flutter DevTools to investigate application issues.
· Assist with Android and iOS builds, release versions, signing and store submissions.
· Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions and bug-fixing activities.
· Support production releases and help resolve issues reported by users.
· Keep the application compatible with relevant Flutter, Android and iOS updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· 1-2 years of experience in mobile application development using Flutter and Dart.
· Strong understanding of Flutter widgets, layouts, navigation and application lifecycle.
· Good knowledge of Dart, including : Object-oriented programming

Collections and generics · Experience working with at least one state-management solution such as Riverpod, Bloc, Cubit or Provider.
· Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.
· Understanding of authentication, access tokens, token refresh and session expiry.
· Familiarity with layered application architecture, repository patterns or MVVM.
· Experience using Git, branches, pull requests and code reviews.
· Basic experience writing unit and widget tests in Flutter.
· Ability to debug application issues using logs and Flutter debugging tools.
· Understanding of responsive mobile design and reusable UI components.
· Familiarity with Firebase services such as Crashlytics, Analytics, Cloud Messaging or Remote Config.
· Basic understanding of Android and iOS build configurations.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a cross-functional team.

· Experience developing applications in fintech, banking, investing, payments, lending or insurance.
· Experience working on a production application available on the Play Store or App Store.
· Familiarity with KYC, payment, brokerage, banking or identity-verification SDKs.
· Experience with push notifications and deep links.
· Understanding of biometric authentication and secure device storage.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Flutter applications.
· Exposure to integration testing and automated release processes.
· Basic knowledge of Kotlin or Swift for platform-specific troubleshooting.
· Experience working with charts, financial data or portfolio dashboards.
· Understanding of mobile accessibility and localisation.
· Familiarity with feature flags and phased releases.

Formal cybersecurity expertise is not required, but the developer should understand that financial applications require stronger security practices than a typical consumer app.
