Role Description

This full time Firmware Engineer role is an on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Firmware

Engineer will design, develop, and debug embedded software for microcontroller and SoC-based platforms used in defence and electronic warfare systems, working hands-on with bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware, communication protocols, and hardware bring-up.

Responsibilities include designing and testing embedded firmware in Embedded C/C++ for ARM Cortex, STM32, TI, and NXP microcontroller platforms, developing and integrating RTOS-based and bare-metal applications for real-time embedded systems,



implementing and debugging communication interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet, developing and maintaining bootloaders, debugging firmware issues at the hardware-software boundary, performing unit-level, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop testing, and using Git for firmware codebase management and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Embedded Systems

2–5 years of experience in embedded firmware development

Strong hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++ on ARM Cortex, STM32, TI, or NXP platforms

Experience with RTOS and bare-metal application development

Proficiency with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet communication protocols

Experience with bootloader development and hardware-software debugging

Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative firmware development workflows

Experience in Defence, Aerospace, or Electronic Warfare systems is a solid plus
