- COGS &
- Profitability Management Monitor and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) across SKUs.

- Identify inefficiencies in sourcing, production, packaging, and logistics.

- Recommend actions to improve gross margins without compromising product quality.

- Pricing Strategy &

- Unit Economics Advise on product pricing across D2C and marketplaces.

- Build and maintain unit economics models for all SKUs.

- Ensure pricing decisions align with margin targets and competitive benchmarks.

- Financial Planning &

- Budgeting Help plan budgets across departments (marketing, operations, inventory, etc.).

- Allocate spends based on expected ROI and business priorities.

- Ensure disciplined financial planning and spending control.

- Cost Control &

- Efficiency Identify areas where money is being wasted or underutilized.

- Recommend cost optimization strategies across the business.

- Build systems to prevent leakages and improve financial discipline.

- Performance Tracking &

- Reporting Track overall business performance sales vs costs vs profitability.





- Build dashboards and reports for key financial metrics.

- Share regular insights on profit, loss, margins, and trends.

- Decision Support &

- Advisory Guide founders on financial implications of key decisions (launches, discounts, campaigns, expansion).

- Bring clarity to trade-offs between growth and profitability.

- Act as a financial sounding board for strategic decisions.

Requirements

- 8 years of experience in finance roles (FP&A; / financial control / business finance).

- Experience in D2C / FMCG / skincare / beauty category preferred.

- Strong understanding of COGS, margins, pricing, and unit economics.

- Ability to build financial models and interpret data into business insights.

- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (advanced level expected).

- Solid analytical thinking with a practical, business-first approach.

- Ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders.

- High ownership mindset, comfortable working closely with founders.
