Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a commercially minded and analytically strong Financial Analyst within the Finance department, dedicated to supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) in India. This role sits at the intersection of finance and project delivery, acting as the primary finance partner for the PMO and ensuring that the organization has clear visibility of how its project portfolio impacts financial performance. Working closely with the Finance team, project managers, and senior leadership, you will translate project activity into financial insight covering budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and advantages realization enabling informed decision-making across the project portfolio.

Financial

Planning &

• Portfolio Analysis, Develop, maintain, and report on project budgets, forecasts, and actuals across the full project portfolio, ensuring alignment with the organizations financial plan. Analyze the financial impact of projects on the P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow, and communicate findings clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders. Produce monthly and quarterly financial performance packs for the PMO, highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities across the portfolio. Support the annual budgeting and periodic re-forecasting process for all capital and operational project expenditure. Track and report on project-level capex vs. opex classification, ensuring accuracy in line with accounting policies and Ind AS/IFRS standards.

Project Financial

Control &

• Governance Partner with project managers to establish robust financial controls, cost tracking frameworks, and financial governance processes at project inception. Review and validate project business cases, ensuring financial assumptions, cost estimates, and benefit projections are realistic and consistent with finance standards. Monitor project spend against approved budgets, escalating material variances and recommending corrective actions. Manage project accruals,



purchase order tracking, and invoice reconciliation in coordination with the Accounts Payable team. Support the preparation of investment approval submissions and stage-gate reviews, providing financial scrutiny and sign-off. Reporting &

- Insights Design and maintain financial dashboards and scorecards using Power BI or Excel, providing real-time visibility of portfolio spend, forecasts, and benefits realization. Translate complex project financial data into clear, concise narratives and visual reports for Finance leadership and the Executive Committee. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic planning decisions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO financial reporting processes, templates, and tools.

Benefits Realization &

• Value Tracking , Establish and maintain a benefits realization framework to track whether projects deliver their expected financial and non-financial outcomes. Work with business owners to quantify projected benefits at project initiation and monitor realization post-implementation. Produce benefits tracking reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting delivered value and flagging at-

risk benefit cases.
