Role Description The Finance Manager at Novotel Lucknow is a full time, on-site role responsible for overseeing all hotel financial operations. This includes managing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and preparing accurate financial reports for management and ownership. The role involves supervising accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing and collection, and maintaining compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local regulations.

The Finance

Manager collaborates with department heads to analyze performance, optimize costs, and support strategic decisions, while working closely with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as needed.



The position also requires mentoring finance team members and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in hotel or hospitality accounting practices and familiarity with property management and finance systems.

Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, taxation principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Ability to analyze financial data, develop insights, and present clear recommendations to leadership.

Experience leading and developing finance teams, with strong people management and coaching abilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional hotel teams and external partners.

High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate, timely financial work.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.

Prior experience as a Finance Manager or in a senior finance role, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.

Comfort with working on-site in Lucknow and adapting to a dynamic, guest-focused hotel environment.
