Wholesale Seeds Limited is a proudly New Zealand-owned company dedicated to supporting the country’s pastoral sector. Our team partners with farmers to select optimal seed varieties, improve planting methods, and maximise land productivity. With our main office based in Ashburton and a network of regional branches throughout the South Island—as well as an expanding presence in the North Island—we are now seeking a proactive, commercially astute Finance Manager to strengthen our team.

In this role, you'll work closely with our finance team and senior leadership team to ensure our financial operations run efficiently and support sound commercial decision-making across the business. Be part of a supportive, results-oriented team in a growing, innovative NZ-owned company What you'll be doing As Finance Manager, You'll Take Ownership Of The Day-to-day Financial Operations Of The Business — Ensuring Accurate Reporting, Strong Controls, And Timely Insight That Helps Us Make Better Decisions.

Day To

Day, You'll Manage month-end close and prepare management accounts

Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the financial side of sales order processing





Maintain financial data in our ERP (NetSuite)

Partner with category and operations teams on margin analysis, cost tracking, and inventory valuation

Liaise with external accountants, banks, and suppliers

Collaborate cross-functionally on commercial projects as the business grows We're looking for someone who Has a relevant accounting qualification, ideally CA or equivalent, and has proven experience in a finance or management accounting role

Is confident working across multiple systems (ERP or accounting platform experience preferred)

Communicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders

Has a track record of process improvement and building robust financial controls
