About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Head to oversee all financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic financial planning at Netport Systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial management within the technology or industrial hardware sector and will play a key role in guiding the company's financial health as we scale our edge computing and AI hardware business across India and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards to leadership
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across all business units
- Ensure full compliance with Indian statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and Companies Act provisions
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies for timely audits and filings
- Manage working capital, banking relationships,



and fund management for optimal liquidity
- Develop and implement robust internal controls, financial policies, and SOPs
- Oversee payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and benefits administration
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling, cost analysis, and profitability tracking
- Monitor import/export financial transactions, foreign exchange management, and transfer pricing compliance

Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution
- 3-5 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a controllership or senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and Companies Act
- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel/financial modelling
- Experience managing audits (statutory, internal, and tax) and liaising with regulatory authorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in the technology hardware, electronics, or industrial computing industry
- Experience with international trade finance, export incentives, and FEMA regulations
- Familiarity with multi-entity or group company financial consolidation
- Hands-on experience with automated accounting systems and BI/reporting tools
