PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT & PLANNING:
Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting processes, with the following specific responsibilities:
Working closely with the SEA Cluster Finance Lead to prepare monthly P&L; latest estimates, built through having a strong understanding of business trends, key drivers and emerging opportunities
Helping build detailed monthly regional performance reports including market wise, brand-wise and customer wise Net Sales Value, Gross Margin %, Direct Brand Contribution, forecasts, actuals and root causing variances to planned numbers.
Compiling full year projected regional and market wise P&Ls; based on forecasts received from market finance teams.
Preparing and distributing various monthly performance management reports to key regional stakeholders including distributor wise depletion, shipment and stock level reporting. Supporting preparation, upload, and submission of the regional Budgets and in year forecasts, by building the necessary templates, providing guidance and ensuring accuracy of submissions in Bacardi Financial reporting Systems (TM1)
Working seamlessly with the Cluster Finance Lead and carrying out any other ad-hoc projects as required
COMMERCIAL DECISION SUPPORT
Act as finance point of contact for relevant Country Managers and Customer Marketing Managers with the following specific responsibilities:
Preparing customer and brand profitability reports for all SEA market reviews. Gathering commentaries from SEA Commercial Leads and providing summary by market to SEA LT.
Providing variance analysis (Actuals vs LE and Actuals vs DP) by P&L; lines and provide 1st level commentary to Finance Business Partner.
Ensuring Trade
Spends are recorded in line with market LE submissions.
Managing end to end customer claim process and ensuring correct rebates agreement are used for settling claims.
Reviewing monthly A&P; spends and proactively flagging exceptions to LE landing and highlight emerging risks.
Statutory Reporting and Audit support:
Managing quarterly recharges process for various SEA entities by compiling all the relevant details and meeting the timelines for posting of period end journal entries.
Managing Finance Global submissions for individual entity as per agreed deadlines and ensuring all balance sheet items are well supported for entities under scope.
Engaging with auditors on end to end of audit preparation for entity under the territory. Making sure the audit is completed with no major audit adjustments.
Support on information requests and resolution on any reporting entity tax related queries from tax consultant for SEA markets.
Liase with Bacardi Regional Centre of excellence for Tax related matters.
STRUCTURE COST DECISION SUPPORT
Prepare monthly Travel & Entertainment expenses tracking by Primos to ensure no overspend and highlight any exceptions for further actions.
Monthly reporting and monitoring of structure costs against Budgets and Latest Estimates, undertaking root causing on variances and preparing commentaries on both favorable and unfavorable variances.
Embed culture of cost control within regional commercial teams
Ensure cross charges allocated to other Bacardi channels are monitored monthly
SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
10+ years of relevant experience in financial/ strategic analysis gleaned from experience in a consumer goods/ retail environment or professional services.
Advanced Excel skills, ability to build advanced excel models, explain variances to estimates, identify business risks and opportunities, and make appropriate recommendations
Ability to think through automating manual monthly reporting and routine tasks and build efficient process workflows Ability to manage projects/tasks independently to ensure successful delivery (on time and within budget) while identifying potential issues/risks. Able to prioritize effectively and manage workload against tight deadlines
Fundamental understanding of internal controls, standards, and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in data used for decision-making, internal/external reporting and communications
Strong communication, influencing, presentation & collaboration skills required in order to achieve results across the organisation
High comfort modelling & understanding large & complex data sets into useful information & insights
Education: Accounting qualifications preferred (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CA or equivalent). Degree level with strong results.
