This role is responsible for the end-to-end operational accounting of vendor funding programs, including allowances, billbacks and promotional support.
The Senior
Analyst ensures accurate setup, tracking, reconciliation, and collection of vendor receivables while driving process efficiency and strengthening financial controls. You will partner closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of high-volume, business-critical transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain vendor funding agreements (e.g., promotional allowances, billbacks, marketing funds) within the accounting system.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording, tracking, and reconciliation of vendor funds and allowances.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Assist with process enhancements, documentation,
and internal controls to strengthen accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
- Solid analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience in process improvement or automation initiatives is a plus.
- Experience with vendor allowances, billbacks or promotional funding is a plus.
- Experience - 4 to 6 years of experience.
