Job Title Asst. Accounts Manager

Job Location - Malad West, Mumbai

Job Summary - We are looking for an experienced Asst. Accounts Manager with a solid manufacturing industry background to manage the company's accounting, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and accounts finalization. The candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, costing, and preparation of financial statements. The role requires close coordination with auditors, banks, consultants, and management while ensuring compliance with statutory and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations of the manufacturing business.
- Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and other financial reports.
- Ensure timely completion of Accounts Finalization in compliance with Accounting Standards and statutory requirements.
- Maintain General Ledger, Trial Balance, and reconciliation of all accounts.
- Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Fixed Assets Accounting.
- Monitor Inventory Accounting, Stock Valuation, WIP (Work-in-Progress), Production Accounting, and Cost Accounting.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Production, and Sales departments for accurate inventory and financial reporting.
- Ensure proper accounting of raw materials, finished goods, production costs, and inventory movements.
- Prepare MIS reports, budget variance analysis, profitability analysis,



and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, fund flow, and working capital requirements.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PTRC/PT, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, tax, GST, and cost audits.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities.
- Maintain statutory records and financial documentation.
- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Accounts team to ensure timely completion of financial activities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Accounts Finalization, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Costing, and Stock Valuation.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliances.
- Experience in Budgeting, MIS Reporting, Financial Planning, and Cash Flow Management.
- Knowledge of Internal Controls and Audit Processes.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting).
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com
- MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 8–15 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing company is mandatory.
- Experience in handling Accounts Finalization, Financial Statements, Inventory Accounting, Costing, GST, TDS, Statutory Compliance, and Audits.
- Prior experience in leading an Accounts team will be preferred.
