Roles and Responsibilities

- Assistant Professor shall be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, preparing course materials, and evaluating student performance in accordance with University and regulatory guidelines.
- The faculty member is expected to undertake quality research, publish in reputed journals, and contribute to sponsored research and consultancy activities.
- They shall mentor students, guide academic projects, internships, and research, and support their overall academic and professional development.
- The role includes curriculum development, implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and the effective use of contemporary teaching and learning technologies.
- The faculty member shall actively participate in departmental and University committees, accreditation, quality assurance, and academic administration.
- They are also expected to organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and outreach activities while fostering industry collaboration and innovation.
- The incumbent shall uphold the values, vision, and mission of Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth and contribute to a culture of academic excellence, research, and value-based education.
