We are looking for a high-caliber Lead Stores with 12 to 16 years of hands-on experience in engineering, automotive, or aerospace component manufacturing setup.

The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of plant stores operationsspanning Raw Material (RM), Goods Received (GRN), Finished Goods (FG), Bought-Out Parts (BOP), Tools & Consumables, and Scrap Management. The role requires strategic inventory control, implementation of up-to-date warehouse systems, strict adherence to quality/compliance standards, and team leadership to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations & Material Management

- Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics, receipts, storage, and material dispatch across Raw Materials, Bought-Out Components, Toolings, and Finished Goods.
- Ensure 100% material traceability from receipt to line-feeding using barcode/QR-code integration and ERP systems.
- Implement structured line-feeding mechanisms (e.g., Kitting, Kanban, Milk Run, JIT) to maintain uninterrupted production flow without bottlenecks.
- Manage stock layout, space utilization, and material handling equipment (MHE) efficiency within the warehouse.

2. Inventory Control & Accuracy

- Maintain near 100% inventory accuracy through perpetual inventory counts, daily cycle counts, and periodic ABC/XYZ analysis.
- Drive physical inventory reconciliation against ERP system stock (SAP) and lead annual audit exercises.
- Monitor non-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete (SLOB) inventory,



implementing proactive measures to reduce write-offs and optimize carrying costs.

3. ERP, Systems & Process Improvement

- Ensure real-time processing of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Requisition Note), Stock Transfers, and Dispatches in SAP/ERP.
- Implement digital store management practices, automation, and warehouse management software (WMS) enhancements.
- Lead lean store initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, FIFO, LIFO, and Visual Management across all store bays.

4. Compliance, Safety & Audits

- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, customs regulations, and trade/export documentation for aerospace & automotive dispatches.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 (Aerospace), and OHSAS/ISO 14001 environmental and safety standards.
- Establish strict safety procedures for material handling, hazardous material storage (MSDS compliance), and ergonomics.

5. Vendor & Inter-Departmental Coordination

- Collaborate closely with Purchase, Production Planning & Control (PPC), Quality Control (QC), and Logistics teams to streamline supply chain flows.
- Oversee vendor return processing (rejections/RTV) promptly alongside the Quality team.
- Support external/internal audits and present inventory analytics to leadership.

6. Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, mentor, and build high-performing stores and material handling teams (officers, engineers, and contractual workforce).
- Define KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous training on safety, ERP transactions, and stores best practices.
