We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Golang + AWS) ll Bangalore ll 4+ yrs. of experience with strong expertise in building scalable backend systems, cloud-native applications, and distributed architectures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Golang development, AWS cloud services, system design, event-driven architecture, and database optimization. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance backend services capable of handling large-scale consumer workloads while ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Mandatory Skills

- 4+ years of backend development experience in production environments
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Golang development
- Solid expertise in Go fundamentals, including Goroutines, Channels, Context Handling, Concurrency, Error Handling, Interfaces, and Performance Optimization
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, Backend Services, and Microservices
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Redis (ElastiCache), CloudWatch, IAM, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS
- Strong understanding of System Design, Distributed Systems, scalability, resilience, and backend architecture best practices
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and database migrations
- Hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture, asynchronous processing, queues, and messaging systems
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
- Strong knowledge of Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Monitoring & Observability, including structured logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting
- Expertise in Redis/Caching strategies for performance optimization and scalability
- Strong proficiency with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development




- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Exposure to Kubernetes, service orchestration, or platform engineering
- Experience building real-time systems using WebSockets
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and backend security best practices
- Experience working in high-growth startup environments
- Experience integrating payment, communication, analytics, or identity platforms

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and internal platforms using Golang
- Build secure, high-performance REST APIs and Microservices for large-scale applications
- Architect scalable distributed systems, background jobs, and event-driven workflows
- Design efficient database schemas, optimize queries, and implement caching strategies
- Build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services
- Implement asynchronous processing using Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar messaging systems
- Develop containerized applications and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Improve system monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and production observability
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical planning, and engineering estimations
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and technical standards
