Role Review:

As a Technical Architect, you will drive the technical direction and design of Odessa’s platform products, translating complex business and scalability requirements into robust, extensible, and high-performing solutions. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical leadership, guide development teams through architecture and design decisions, and champion clean code, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in strengthening the product framework, enhancing performance, and ensuring the platform continues to scale effectively for enterprise clients.

What you'll do:

- Own and evolve the technical architecture for Odessa’s platform products, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and aligned with long-term product strategy.
- Translate complex business and product requirements into clear technical designs, implementation approaches, and architecture documentation for engineering teams.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership by solving complex engineering challenges, writing high-quality code,



and setting standards for design, performance, and maintainability.
- Lead design and code reviews, define quality and performance metrics, and mentor development teams to strengthen engineering practices and delivery outcomes.

Basic qualifications:

- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in .NET and C#.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, architecture patterns, and enterprise application development.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, NoSQL databases, message queues, and reusable library development.
- Ability to design and evolve database structures to meet functional, performance, and scalability requirements.
- Experience building scalable, web-based applications and working across complex product or platform environments.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools to improve development speed, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, foster a collaborative team environment, and influence technical direction across teams.
