Role Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can produce engaging promotional videos, social media reels, customer testimonials, product demonstrations, advertisements, and educational content.

The candidate should be able to convert raw footage, images, scripts, voice-overs, and marketing ideas into professional videos that attract customers and generate leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit promotional videos for WhatsApp, RCS, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Create short-form videos, reels, product demos, customer testimonials, and advertisement videos.
- Add subtitles, captions, transitions, animations, sound effects, background music, and voice-overs.
- Create videos in different formats, including vertical, square, and landscape.
- Convert marketing scripts into engaging visual stories.
- Design motion graphics, animated text, logos, and call-to-action elements.
- Improve video quality through colour correction, audio enhancement, stabilisation, and noise reduction.
- Resize and optimise videos for different social media and campaign platforms.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand campaign requirements.
- Maintain consistent branding, colours, fonts, logos, and communication style.
- Manage multiple video projects and deliver them within the given deadline.
- Organise raw footage, completed videos, project files, music, and creative assets.
- Use AI tools to generate scripts, subtitles, voice-overs, visuals, and creative ideas.
- Make corrections based on team or customer feedback.

- Adobe Illustrator

Audio Editing
- Adobe Audition
- Audacity

AI Tools
- ChatGPT for scripts, captions, and content ideas
- ElevenLabs or similar tools for AI voice-overs
- Runway, HeyGen, or similar AI video-generation tools
- AI subtitle and background-removal tools

Required Skills
- Strong video-editing and storytelling skills.
- Good understanding of social media video trends.
- Ability to create professional videos from raw footage and limited instructions.
- Knowledge of typography, colour combinations, layouts, transitions, and visual effects.
- Basic graphic-design and motion-graphics skills.
- Good understanding of audio syncing and background-music selection.
- Ability to create videos in English, Tamil, and other regional languages will be an advantage.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle feedback and complete revisions quickly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Film Editing, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in video editing or digital-content creation.
- Experience creating business advertisements, educational videos, insurance promotions, product demos, or lead-generation videos is preferred.
- A solid portfolio or sample videos must be submitted during the interview.

- Reduce editing errors and unnecessary revisions.
- Create videos that improve engagement, enquiries, and lead generation.
- Maintain proper backup and organisation of all video files.
