Stipend: Paid Fellowship About SucSEED SucSEED is the Investment Manager of SEBI-regulated SucSEED Indovation Fund, an AIF Category-I Venture Capital Fund. We partner with ambitious founders and build long-term institutional platforms in India’s early-stage ecosystem. We have also set up a Fund Management Entity in GIFT City Gujarat to launch our Fund-III in USD denomination. About The Role The full-time fellowship program is for a year and is aimed at giving the fellows a full taste of what happens in a VC fund. For deserving candidates, the program provides a full-time offer from SucSEED or its associated firms. Working within the Healthtech, Medtech, Lifesciences and Wellness sectors requires evaluating opportunities across the entire ecosystem- providers, payers, patients, regulators, and technology enablers. Fellows will develop a sector-wide perspective, analyzing companies at various stages of maturity through both clinical and commercial lenses. The role requires evaluating clinical validation, regulatory pathways, reimbursement dynamics, hospital adoption cycles, and scientific defensibility- making this fellowship uniquely analytical and impact-driven. In this Fellowship, you will be expected to learn & understand the progress in the sector, build & maintain valuation-related analysis, prepare write-ups, present investment ideas to the Sectoral Committee, Investment Mgmt Team, Partners & Investment Committees, in order to take an informed call on early-stage deals. Once invested, grow the PortCo and create value for Investors through a healthy Exit. Role Mandate &

Key Responsibilities Buy-side Sectoral Research leading to Pre-Deal discovery

Responsible for conducting primary & Secondary market research around Technology Innovation in various Sectors of SucSEED's Investment thesis to identify opportunities for growth & innovation and convert into Annual Buy-side Sectoral Research. Evaluate scalable healthtech, medtech opportunities with faster time-to-market and revenue realization, in the areas of diagnostic technologies, remote monitoring, digital care models, preventive medicine, etc. Map the healthcare value chain to identify whitespace tech-driven opportunities and unmet clinical needs.

Track

Healthcare regulatory developments (CDSCO, FDA, CE, etc.) and assess their impact on investment viability. Benchmark business models, pricing structures, and reimbursement dynamics across geographies. Assess capital intensity, time-to-market, and risk-adjusted return profiles of healthcare segments.

Attend various events in the sector and analyse Industry trends/ data to identify patterns & Partners to work with Build Community Create a Community of various stakeholders (Incubators, Accelerators, Funds, Regulators, Institutions, Investors, Corporations, etc) to create value in that sector and use them effectively to conduct Sectoral Research Create a platform for Startup founders to pitch their solutions & discover deals more proactively. Work with various Incubators & Sourcing Partners such as CCMB, IIHMR, IITM, IIITH,



IIMB and other Accelerators to discover innovations matching our investment themes (inbound & outbound) Filter, Screen & interact with founders to appreciate their solutions. Collaborate with Sectoral Curators to help shape Fund roadmaps & discover deals accordingly.

Investment

Mgmt & Deal Execution

Conduct Investment analysis based on product features, market size & business projections to build a case to invest. Work with the Investment committee to identify investment interest and ensure the Investment Memo covers all the salient points to get approval from the committees & LPs, delivered on time, as per the scope.

Portfolio

Management & Value Creation / Scaling of PortCos

Work with Portfolio company Founders and develop an implementation plan to achieve Business Plans & GTM. Track & report on key performance metrics to senior management. You will be expected to conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation & operational metrics (vs. peer groups), and learn how other analyses could be helpful in Early-stage investments.

Develop

Outreach, presentations & other materials to communicate with clients, partners & investors about the sector.

Identify

Clients, Partners & Investors who can bring value towards the growth of our PortCos, with regular engagements through Portfolio Showcases. Sell-side Sectoral Research & Create Exits Relationship & Engagement: Lead day-to-day execution of complex engagement with CorpDev/ Client Teams and Private Equity players across Pre-Deal phase, Deal Execution phase & Value Creation / Scaling of PortCos.

Business Development: Identify & convert client opportunities by building relationships with Global PE/M&A; Leadership, Client Account Teams, & Client stakeholders in PE/Corp across geographies. Harness extensive knowledge combined with an integrated suite of methods, people & assets to help the Fund create Value for Investors.

Practice Development: Contribute to the development of new assets / IP, thought capital & POVs, raising the profile of the team & the PortCo, leading to demand generation. Collaboration with Institutional Partners

You’ll get the exposure to handle responsibilities by working closely on Investor Relationship (retail, institutional and Family offices) Develop deeper relationship with Partners of SucSEED (Incubators, Accelerators, Investment Bankers, network with other fund houses, Service Providers, Large Technology providers, and so on) Work on Events and Collaborations to create better outreach, and create sell-side opportunities towards exits and work on Marketing and Communication strategy to have better brand recall with the external world at every level. And help our Portfolio companies with various Partnership outreach.

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Medicine, Dental, Biotech, Pharma, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Bioinformatics, or related fields Working knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance (is not mandatory but highly preferred) Experience & Skillset 0–3 years of experience in the healthcare industries, health IT, Medtech, Lifesciences, Health automation, or business analysis Strong interest in business, finance, accounting, valuation, and equity research Exposure to M&A;, PE, CorpDev, consulting, or startup ecosystems is a plus Strong project management and ability to manage multiple initiatives Core Attributes Clear, confident communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders Curious, entrepreneurial, and highly performance-driven Passionate about technology-led disruption in healthcare Collaborative team player with a bias for ownership and execution Based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate; open to WFO (6 days/week) SucSEED provides a unique platform for accelerated learning & fast-tracking your career.
