Summary: Responsible for planning, organizing and conducting vocational training programs for mine workers in accordance

with statutory requirements. Ensure that all employees including new recruits, contract workers and MDO manpower

receive mandatory training on mine safety, underground mining practices and emergency procedures as per

statutory provisions.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Financial: Ensure effective utilization of training facilities and training resources.

Customer: Provide competent and safety-oriented workforce for underground mining operations.

Process: Conduct training needs survey(TNS), then plan for initial training, refresher training and special safety training for mine workers as per statutory requirements. Maintain training records and ensure compliance with training regulations.

Capability: Develop training modules based on TNS, conduct demonstrations, safety awareness programs and emergency preparedness training.

Experience: Experience in mine safety, training programs and underground mining operations.

Overall Experience: 10-12 years of experience in underground coal mining operations.
