Job Title: Farm Manager

Department: Farm Operations

Reports To: General Manager / Managing Director

Job Summary The Farm Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all farm operations to ensure efficient production, optimal resource utilization, and compliance with company standards. The role involves managing farm staff, crop production, equipment, budgets, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and oversee day-to-day farm operations.
- Supervise farm workers and assign daily tasks.
- Monitor crop cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control activities.
- Ensure timely sowing, harvesting, and post-harvest operations.
- Maintain farm machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Monitor inventory of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other farm inputs.
- Maintain farm records related to production, expenses, labor, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and agricultural best practices.
- Prepare farm budgets and control operational costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors,



and other departments.
- Monitor crop health and implement corrective measures when required.
- Submit regular reports on farm performance and productivity.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
- Knowledge of crop production, irrigation systems, pest management, and farm machinery.
- Robust leadership, planning, and communication skills.
