Role Description The Factory Manager role at Simplex Plast - India is a full-time, on-site position based in Vasai.

The Factory

Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet quality, safety, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities include supervising production teams, monitoring equipment performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and implementing process improvements. The role also involves coordinating with procurement, maintenance, and logistics, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and preparing regular operational reports for management.

The Factory





Manager will be expected to foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and productive teamwork across the factory.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to manage daily schedules, workflows, and output targets.

Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Manufacturing Operations to ensure product consistency, compliance with standards, and efficient use of machinery and materials.

Candidates should possess skills in Operations Management to oversee end-to-end factory activities, optimize processes, and manage performance indicators.

Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in plastic manufacturing or similar process-driven industries, with hands-on supervisory or managerial responsibility.

Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to train and guide shop-floor personnel.

Working knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and basic maintenance practices for manufacturing equipment.
