Job Purpose To support the Strategic Sourcing team in driving supplier development, cost optimization, data analysis, and procurement planning aligned with business objectives. This role is suitable for early-career professionals or fresh graduates with a technical and business background.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct market research to identify recent suppliers, alternate sources, and cost effective solutions for raw materials, packaging, and components.

- Perform cost analysis, prepare cost comparison sheets, and assist in value engineering projects to reduce sourcing costs.

- Assist in implementing strategic sourcing plans by working on vendor development, localization, and risk mitigation.

- Prepare and issue RFQs, collect quotes, and conduct commercial evaluations in coordination with technical teams.





- Track supplier delivery performance, quality issues, and support improvement initiatives.

- Maintain sourcing master data, purchase order records, and reports using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel.

- Collaborate with planning, quality, and production teams to ensure timely procurement and supplier readiness.

- Ensure suppliers meet required standards on quality, environmental, and ethical compliance.

Qualifications

- Education: BE / BTech Mechanical or Polymer Engineering

- MBA Operations or Supply Chain Management (preferred from reputed institutes)
