Role: Executive / Senior Executive - HR Generalist

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive HR professional with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a generalist capacity. In this role, you will be a key pillar of our Human Resources team, managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, payroll support, and critical statutory compliances. Additionally, you will play an active role in organizational change management, specifically supporting the implementation and rollout of new HRMS platforms to streamline internal processes.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong grounding in a data-driven approach to HR operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage day-to-day HR operations encompassing onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and exit management.
- Payroll Processing: Drive inputs, validate attendance and leave records, and manage basic payroll execution in coordination with finance/payroll partners to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Statutory Compliances: Ensure adherence to local and national statutory regulations, including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax, and other applicable labour laws.
- HRMS & Change Management: Actively assist in organizational change management initiatives, supporting the migration, testing, and implementation of new HRMS/ATS modules to automate employee lifecycle workflows.
- Employee Relations & Grievance Handling: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee queries, resolving grievances promptly and fostering a positive, engaging work culture.
- HR Metrics & Documentation: Maintain accurate HR records, generate MIS reports, track key HR KPIs (attrition, attendance, leave trends), and support internal/external audit requirements.
- Policy Implementation: Assist leadership in rolling out updated company policies, handbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education: MBA in Human Resources (HRM)



/ Postgraduate degree in Personnel Management or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of dedicated post-qualification experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role within a service or IT/ITeS industry.
- Technical Expertise:
- Sound working knowledge of basic payroll management and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Prior, hands-on experience participating in HRMS software implementation or workflow automation projects.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel capabilities are a strong plus).
- Ability to handle confidential data with utmost integrity and professionalism.
