Reporting To Purchase Manager / Head of Supply Chain

Job Purpose The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services in line with organizational requirements. The role ensures cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, vendor development, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify reliable vendors and suppliers, evaluate quotations, and negotiate favourable terms.
- Review purchase requisitions and float RFQ’s with comparisons and create purchase orders as per company policies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse for replenishment at projects.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, and services
- Maintain and update supplier database with performance records.
- Track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure schedules are met.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Production, QA/QC, Finance)



to align requirements.
- Handle documentation related to import/export (if applicable).
- Resolve vendor issues related to quality, delivery, or payment.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement / purchase function (industry-specific experience preferred, e.g., irrigation automation, manufacturing, engineering, trading)
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP knowledge is an advantage

Work Conditions

- Location: Bhopal (Head Office)
- Full time,
- Occasional travel for vendor visits, audits, and negotiations
