Senior Consultant ServiceNow Portal UI/UX Developer

Contract - 4 months

Role Summary:-

We are seeking a ServiceNow Portal UI/UX Developer with expertise in user experience design and front-end development on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and enhance intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly experiences across Employee Centre, Employee Service Portal, and Service Portal.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to create engaging employee self-service experiences while leveraging ServiceNow's portal capabilities and UI best practices.

Essential Responsibilities:-

- Design and develop user-friendly ServiceNow portal experiences.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journey maps.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow portal pages, widgets, themes, and branding.
- Enhance Employee Centre and self-service experiences through contemporary UI/UX practices.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into effective portal solutions.
- Ensure responsive design, accessibility, and usability standards are met.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to implement scalable solutions.
- Conduct usability reviews and recommend continuous improvements.
- Support portal-related enhancements, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities and UI/UX trends.
- Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

- Years of experience:



3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design and Front-End Development & 2+ years of experience working with ServiceNow portals.
- Field of experience: ServiceNow UI/UX & Front-End Skills
- Technical Skills: ServiceNow Portal, Employee Centre, Service Portal, UI Builder, Portal Widgets, UI/UX Design, Figma, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design, Accessibility, User Journey Mapping, Wireframing, Prototyping etc.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, Ability to influence design decisions and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Tools or Software (Required / Preferred): ServiceNow UI/UX
- Education Qualifications: Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)
- Industry Background or Experience (Required / Preferred): Have at least 3+ years experience in UI/UX Design, Front-End Development & ServiceNow portals.

Desirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

- Experience creating employee-facing self-service portals.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX and ServiceNow portal implementations.
- Understanding of HR, ITSM, or Enterprise Service Management processes.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
