Role Description The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial real estate projects in Kozhikode. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing architectural and engineering drawings, quantifying materials and labor, and developing detailed BOQs and cost breakdowns. The role involves coordinating with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to validate estimates, update budgets, and support tender preparation and bid submissions.

The Estimation

Engineer will monitor market rates, vendor quotations, and construction methods to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with project specifications. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Kozhikode, requiring close collaboration with the project and site teams. Qualifications

Strong skills in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and preparation of BOQs for building and infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in estimation and design-related software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, cost estimation tools) and comfort working with digital project documentation.

Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, local building codes, and industry standards relevant to residential and commercial real estate.

Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and translate them into explicit, accurate cost and resource requirements.

Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work with project teams, consultants, and vendors.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; prior estimation experience in real estate or construction is highly beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
