ERPNext Developer (2–4 years)- EMotorad

Location: Gurgaon | Full-time | On-site

About the Role:

EMotorad is India's fastest-growing e-bike brand, currently expanding across India and Europe. Our operations run on a heavily customised ERPNext instance, with approximately 70% of the codebase custom-built on top of the Frappe framework, covering our supply chain, manufacturing, dealer operations, and procurement workflows.

We're looking for an ERPNext developer who can navigate a complex existing codebase, extend it confidently, and build integrations with our product engineering systems.

What You'll Own:

- Build, extend, and maintain custom Doctypes, server scripts, client scripts, and custom reports within our ERPNext instance
- Develop and maintain API integrations between ERPNext and EM's external systems (dealer portal, D2C backend, IoT telemetry pipeline)
- Debug production issues in the custom codebase and resolve them independently
- Implement new business workflows in collaboration with operations, supply chain, and finance teams
- Translate business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into ERPNext solutions (custom forms, workflows,



print formats, dashboards)
- Own data integrity and reconciliation between ERPNext and connected systems

Must have:

- 2–4 years of hands-on ERPNext / Frappe Framework development
- Strong Python- you write server scripts and custom apps, not just point-and-click configuration
- JavaScript proficiency for client-side Frappe scripts and form customisations
- Deep familiarity with at least 3 of these ERPNext modules: Stock, Buying, Manufacturing, Selling, Accounts
- Experience reading and modifying existing custom Frappe apps (not just greenfield)
- REST API design and integration- connecting ERPNext to external services
- Ability to own a problem end-to-end: requirement → design → build → test → deploy

Valuable to have:

- Experience with ERPNext in a manufacturing or supply chain company
- Frappe custom app development (not just site-level customisations)
- Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and production order workflows
- Exposure to ERPNext Bench, site setup, and basic deployment
