About the department:
Clarion Partners manages more than $70 billion in real estate assets for institutional investors worldwide. The team supports investment reporting, data management, performance analytics, and operational oversight across equity and debt real estate strategies. Professionals in accounting, fund administration, portfolio management, technology, and reporting work closely together to deliver accurate data and meaningful insights. This collaborative workplace provides exposure to investment operations, reporting processes, and real estate markets while supporting informed investment decisions and client service.
How you will add value
Core Responsibilities:
- You will collect and validate financial and operational data.
- You will reconcile accounting, fund administration, and reporting records.
- You will maintain data within reporting and analytics platforms.
- You will gather information from third-party providers.
- You will perform data quality reviews and data cleansing activities.
- You will investigate discrepancies in assets, valuations, and performance metrics.
Performance & Reporting:
- You will maintain investor and consultant databases.
- You will support investor reporting and due diligence requests.
- You will prepare data for Requests for Proposal and Requests for Information submissions.
- You will assist with performance, risk, attribution, and asset reporting.
- You will support reporting across open-end and closed-end funds.
Team & Collaboration:
- You will support data migration and integration initiatives.
- You will improve reporting workflows and internal controls.
- You will collaborate with accounting, technology, and investment teams.
- You will coordinate with external providers and internal stakeholders.
What will help you be successful in this role
Experience, Education & Certifications :
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Two to four years of experience in fund administration, accounting, reporting, or data operations.
- Experience with financial data validation and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of investment performance metrics preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or Structured Query Language preferred.
- Understanding of Assets Under Management, Net Asset Value, Internal Rate of Return, Total Value to Paid-In Capital, leverage ratios, and time-weighted returns preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
