Key responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP and Fiori development, with specific expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance.
Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the sustaining and depot areas.
- Collaborate with functional Business System Experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Work with the technical team and business stakeholders to support Plant Maintenance processes.
- Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications in the Plant Maintenance area, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
- Debug and resolve system issues, providing technical support to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize existing ABAP code and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and other technical initiatives as required.
- Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in compliance with RTX standards.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Experience with SAP Fiori development, including UI5 and OData services.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a Best Cost Location (BCL) environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- 3+ years of related experience, preferably in the Aerospace Defense industry.
- Proven expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance, with a solid understanding of Plant Maintenance functionality and industry processes.
- Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the Plant Maintenance area (e.g., PM, MM, QM).
