The role in a nutshell:
The Regional Entity Management & Compliance Manager will ensure Entity Management complies with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements, promoting adherence to applicable policies and procedures, at all times. Actively managing risk and ensuring compliance, whilst proactively identifying issues and developing solutions. Responsible for Managing & controlling all aspects of Entity creation, changes and maintenance.
How you will make a difference:
- Administration contribute and ensure that we have one source of truth for accurate Entity information, Documentation & Validation
- Maintain metrics and a reporting framework to accurately articulate project performance where targeted on opening new entities
- Support the Business Leadership in the implementation of growth plans
- Project Management support and ensuring the completion of projects on time and within budget.
- Liaising with local legal service providers for entity incorporation, registered address & office, and mandatory licensing and registrations.
- Collaborating with our internal team across HR, Payroll, Finance, Product and Marketing.
- Reviewing of legal advice across new countries.
- Reviewing and updating processes that will ensure best practices and success.
- Assisting internal teams with business model-related queries.
- Keep up to date on legal/regulatory/tax-based developments or changes that could affect Entity compliance in region
- Ensure the Safeguard Global business is compliant with local regulations and laws.
- Act with the highest level of integrity at all times
- Act in the best interests of Safeguard Global at all times
- Be clear, open and transparent in your communications with colleagues and customers
- Promptly report any issues (or possible issues) you identify to your manager (or an appropriate member of the senior management team) for consideration and resolution
- Manage Safeguard Global expenditure on external counsel, ensuring stay within budget
- Evaluate, adapt and apply industry best practices related to entity management methodologies and processes to help improve outcomes on assigned business initiatives.
What will give you an advantage:
- 2 - 6 years' experience in entity management, corporate governance, and company entity matters, including entity setup, restructuring, and dissolution.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, statutory filings, entity lifecycle management, and governance best practices across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience working in a global business environment and partnering with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and external service providers.
- Proven experience managing third-party service providers to deliver high-quality services within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, support global expansion initiatives, and drive process improvements in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify governance and compliance risks, resolve escalations, and independently develop and implement practical solutions.
- Experience maintaining accurate entity records, governance documentation, and management reporting with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, gain consensus, and engage effectively with senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accountability and integrity.
- Thoughtful, disciplined, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and focus on operational excellence.
