Role Description The Enterprise Infrastructure Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, responsible for designing and overseeing the organization’s end-to-end infrastructure architecture. This role involves developing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions, aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives, and creating architecture standards and best practices. Day-to-day tasks include assessing current infrastructure, defining target architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions, and guiding implementation efforts with IT operations and engineering.

The Enterprise Infrastructure

Architect also evaluates new technologies, manages technical risks,



supports capacity planning and performance optimization, and ensures compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid Infrastructure and System Administration skills, with experience managing servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud or hybrid environments.

Candidates should possess Solution Architecture and Architecture skills, including designing enterprise-scale systems, creating architectural blueprints, and aligning solutions with business and security requirements.

Candidates should possess Networking skills, including knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.

Candidates should possess experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and high availability/DR solutions for critical enterprise systems.

Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, CCNP/CCIE, RHCE) are preferred.

Beneficial skills include familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), ITIL-based service management, and strong analytical and communication abilities for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
