Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sirsa for an English, Physics, and IT Teacher for IGCSE and AS & A Level. The educator will plan and deliver subject-specific lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards, using diverse instructional strategies to meet varied learning needs. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction, assigning and evaluating student work, and providing constructive feedback.

The teacher will manage classroom behavior, maintain accurate academic records, and support students’ exam preparation and overall progress.



The role also involves participating in school meetings, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, communicating with parents or guardians as needed, and contributing to co-curricular and enrichment activities.

Qualifications

Strong subject expertise in respective subjects i.e. English, Physics, and Information Technology, with the ability to teach IGCSE and A Level curricula.

Proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment aligned with Cambridge international standards.

Effective communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills to support diverse learners and maintain positive classroom relationships.

Competence in using educational technology, digital resources, and basic IT tools for teaching and assessment.

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject disciplines; formal teacher training or B.Ed. is preferred.

Previous experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level courses is highly desirable.

Ability to work collaboratively with academic staff, participate in professional development, and adapt to institutional policies and procedures.
