Role Description The English Second Language Teacher will deliver online English lessons to learners of varying proficiency levels in a part time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting interactive lessons, introducing vocabulary and grammar in context, and supporting learners with speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The teacher will assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching materials to meet individual and group needs.

Additional tasks may include preparing learners for standardized English exams such as IELTS,



maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, and participating in occasional training or team meetings to align with program goals.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to support learners at different levels of proficiency.

Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills and experience designing structured, engaging ESL lessons and activities.

Candidates should possess Teaching English as a Foreign Language skills, including familiarity with communicative and learner-centered methodologies.

Candidates should possess IELTS preparation skills and experience guiding learners through exam strategies and practice tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.

TESOL/TEFL or similar ESL teaching certification is highly beneficial.

Strong online teaching skills, including comfort with video conferencing platforms and digital learning tools.

Excellent spoken and written English, clear communication style, and culturally responsive teaching approach.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and maintain professional reliability.

Previous experience teaching ESL or EFL to diverse age groups is a plus.
