About GoInstaCare

GoInstaCare builds AI-powered operations software for the home care industry, including voice agents that automate caregiver recruiting, scheduling, and client communication. We are an early-stage, fast-moving startup with a small engineering team and a founding team based in the United States.

About the Role

You'll lead a small engineering team, own the product backlog, and be hands-on with code and architecture where that's the fastest path to a working solution. This is an on-site role based at our Palasia, Indore - MP office.

What You'll Do

- Lead the engineering team's day-to-day work: code review, architectural decisions, and hands-on coding when needed.
- Hire, onboard, mentor, and conduct regular one-on-one performance reviews with engineers.
- Clearly understand business requirements and create a detailed description for the team with an implementation plan and clear objectives and timelines.
- Set clear milestones, manage timelines, and remove roadblocks to hit targets on schedule.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog end to end.
- Guide architectural and design choices, enforce best practices and maintain system quality.
- Set and enforce delivery, process, and quality standards as the team and product scale.




- Coordinate with a US-based founding team across time zones.
- Take ownership of the product, build structure and process where none exists yet.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years leading a team as a tech lead, engineering manager, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated product ownership: you've written and prioritized a backlog yourself.
- Strong backend fundamentals: Python (or a comparable server-side language), API design, relational databases, and cloud deployment.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Supabase or PostgreSQL, and contemporary cloud infrastructure.
- Track record shipping to production on a fast cadence in a startup or small-team environment.
- Excellent written English, since most decisions here happen in writing across time zones.
- Available for a daily early-evening call with the US-based founding team.
- Comfortable creating structure in a low-process environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience scaling infrastructure through a real growth period, not just running it steady state.
- Exposure to LLM or voice AI products in production (enough to lead the work, not necessarily to build it yourself).
- Domain experience in healthcare, home care, staffing, or another compliance-sensitive services industry.
- Experience working with US-based founders or stakeholders while based in India.
