Role Description The Engineering Manager for Canada opportunities will lead and mentor a software engineering team, ensuring delivery of robust solutions that support Esse India’s immigration and visa consulting services. This full-time, on-site role is based in Canada and involves overseeing end-to-end project execution, coordinating integration efforts, and aligning technical outputs with business goals.

The Engineering

Manager will plan and prioritize work, manage timelines and resources, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve internal systems and client-facing platforms. Day-to-day activities include guiding software development best practices, conducting code and design reviews, resolving technical issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.



The role also requires maintaining clear communication with leadership, providing status updates, and contributing to strategic technology decisions that support expansion of Canada-related opportunities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills to guide and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including experience with modern programming languages, architectures, and best practices.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time and within scope.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills to design and manage integrations between internal systems and external platforms.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading engineering teams in product or service-oriented organizations, ideally in consulting or technology-enabled services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, and data security standards is an advantage.
- Experience working in or with globally focused businesses, and understanding of compliance or regulated processes, is beneficial.
