The role combines hands-on technical leadership with team development, product delivery, and responsible AI governance.

Robust background in software engineering with scalable, production-grade applications and platforms

Experience developing large-scale distributed systems, data processing platforms, batch workloads, or event-driven architectures

Strong understanding of modern web and cloud technologies

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and distributed teams

Equivalent practical experience Responsibilities Lead a high-performing engineering team building AI-powered solutions for legal professionals

Oversee AI Agents and AI Accelerators product areas

Lead end-to-end development of AI agent capabilities

Drive delivery of AI accelerators from concept through production deployment

Partner with Product Management, Legal Domain Experts, Review Operations, and Engineering stakeholders

Establish and maintain robust evaluation frameworks and quality standards

Define metrics and processes for accuracy, grounding, citation quality, relevance, and reliability

Implement testing and regression strategies before release

Define operational guardrails and decision boundaries for AI-enabled workflows

Establish escalation and human-in-the-loop processes for human review or approval

Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, legal, and responsible AI requirements

Optimize performance across real-time and batch-processing workloads

Drive architectural decisions for model routing, retrieval strategies, inference optimization,



caching, batching, and cost management

Balance latency, throughput, quality, and operational efficiency at scale

Provide guidance on architecture, design patterns, engineering best practices, and technology strategy

Participate in design reviews, code reviews, technical planning, and operational readiness activities

Partner with global engineering leaders to drive consistency and innovation

Hire, mentor, coach, and grow a multidisciplinary team of software, data, and AI engineers

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence
