Job Summary

The Engineer SAP BASIS is responsible for providing global and regional SAP technical (Basis) support services, interfaced systems, systems administration in S4 and BTP environments, implementation, problem analysis, performance tuning and support all relevant infrastructure. This position will be located onsite in Pune, India.

Responsibilities

- Work at a technical level with an understanding of SAP, its underlying database, operating system, hardware platform (Linux/Windows with HANA) and networking principles. Working experience as HANA DB would be plus.

- Infrastructure/Architecture awareness (Networking, Virtualization, Middleware, OS Platform etc.). BCP planning and Disaster Recovery knowledge is a plus (backup and recovery mechanisms)

- Responsibilities include monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical setting along with its underlying components and interfaces (C4C, Vertex, OpenText, ShipERP etc.) on an ongoing basis, as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system.

- Provide performance tuning, problem analysis for SAP instances.

Ideally Cloud Based Deployment

Experience (e.g., AWS, Azure etc.).



Ability to work with cross functional and ABAP team to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

- Exposure to SAP Technologies and Solutions (e.g., S4 HANA suite, Gateway, BTP[SAC/DSP/DM/Joule etc.]). BTP platform knowledge in areas of configuration, integration, SSO, create subaccounts etc. Ability to lead projects independently and create runbooks, project plans and engage stakeholders efficiently.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree mandatory (prefer Computer Science or related field).

- 4+ years of SAP Basis administration experience

- 2+ years of S4 HANA experience along with relational database concept.

- Experience with S4 HANA(RISE), Solution Manager, boltons(like tax engine, compliance engine, TMS, BTP, DSM etc) and experience with SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio
